The problem with ovarian cancer is that many of the symptoms are easily confused with digestive disorders and bladder problems, so the cancer goes unrecognized until it’s advanced. But in retrospect, many women with ovarian cancer realize they were experiencing unexplained symptoms for months, even years, before their cancer was diagnosed. Hi!I,m a 49 year old women. I had an MRI done because my left adnexa measures 6 x 6 x 5 cm and is markedly heterogeneous on all sequences. Plus 2.3 x 1.6 cm soft tissue located posterior to the cervix and inferior to the left adnexal mass. Plus 2 areas of implants involving the right adnexal region just anterior to the right ovary. Also a 1.3 cm right paravaginal partly cystic ring-enhancing nodule or again an implant. Also a very small amount of free fluid in the cul-de-sac. It also stated adenomyosis.By the way my CA-125 count was 219.I'm seeing my gyno/oncologist on Tuesday to discuss surgery. After all the research I have done over this, I firmly believe I have ovarian cancer but what stage.... that is what's eating me alive. Is anyone out there has any ideas or words of wisdom for me?Thanks!Joyce
