Hi..I'm not sure why the shoulder pain, (ask your gyn doc) but the dizziness is just from the hormonal changes during menses...if your bleeding is very heavy, perhaps you could check into the Thermachoice endometrial ablation procedure. It's done on women who don't want to have any more children, or have children at all. It's an out patient procedure in which the endometrial lining is destroyed. Your periods will be MUCH lighter, if you have any discharge at all. I had it done a year ago & I'm VERY pleased with the result.....good luck....Kim
