Hi...I had the Thermachoice Endometrial Ablation, but I hear the HTA is effective uses hot water to scald the endometrial lining. The Thermachoice uses an endometrial balloon filled with hot water which scalds the endometrial lining. Both are supposed to be very good. I've had NO monthly periods since having the Thermachoice. There are a few websites online that you can check out for both procedures more in depth....good luck...Kim, RN, gyn team leader
